On July first Anna fractured her femur in a fall. She was operated on in Cape May where we were vacationing. With the help of physical therapy she has progressed from a walker to a cane and now is starting to walk without either of them.
On June first I was hospitalized for a week due to a bleeding esophagus that was repaired with 11 rubber bands. I had lost a lot of blood and required a transfusion. I seem to have recovered well but still lack some energy and stamina.
It has been a busy summer of doctor visits and tests but things are beginning to return to normal.
